Grounds
The interior of the castle is lawned but steep in several places. Care should be taken when accessing the upper levels to the main gatehouse.

Daily 10:00 – 16:00

Closed 24th, 25th, 26th December & 1st January.


Parking
There is a 75 space public car park within 800m of the castle situated on the estuary foreshore.
Access
Access to the castle via public footpath, private road and lane. These are steep and uneven in places. Access is limited to walkers only.
Restricted access
No public access to the Iron Age earthwork or the woodland at the castle base.
Rules
Bear in mind the Castle and surrounding land is privately owned.
All we ask is that you help us preserve its beauty and adhere to the following when visiting.
- Please do not leave any litter.
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Dogs must be kept on leads & any fouling cleaned up and taken with you.
- Smoking is not-permitted.


Drones
Drones are not permitted at Llansteffan Castle or over any of Cadw’s guardianship sites, except by commissioned contractors for a specific purpose.
Permission must be sought and Stringent CAA criteria met including correct insurances. Only permitted parties operating under controlled conditions are allowed.
Photography
Professional photography e.g. wedding photos etc is not allowed without prior arrangement and permission.
